Development Process for a Heavy-Duty Trailer
1. Requirements Analysis:
Definition of payload capacity, axle configuration, steering system, transported goods and all relevant transport and operating requirements.
2. Concept Development & Design:
Development of a customized trailer concept including chassis, frame, steering system and load deck, as well as the engineering design of all individual components and assemblies.
3. Simulation & Optimization:
FEM simulation to validate and optimize the design.
4. Technical Documentation:
Preparation of complete manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
5. Manufacturing, Assembly & Commissioning:
Support throughout manufacturing, assembly with partner companies and commissioning.
